A while back, myself along with DJ CAMS threw an event at Manor West called “Canned”. Guests were encouraged to bring in canned food in order to receive complimentary admission to the event. Yesterday, I received a letter in the mail from the SF Food Bank stating that with the 100 pounds of food that we donated, 79 meals for those in need were prepared and distributed. Personally, I think that next time we can raise and donate even more However, all in all it was a great start for a great cause. Thank you all for coming out and supporting.

Last night, The Parlor was absolutely bonkers. Great crowd and an amazing set by DJ Spider. Thank you all for coming out early and raging late. The spot was packed all night. More to come soon…

A couple weeks ago I hit up the “How To Make It In America” preview party at 111minna. We missed the actual episode but the party in itself was dope. DJ KINGMOST killed it and the HUF CREW was in full effect. I watched the actual episode this week and I was a little disappointed. The show lagged and I could tell that HBO was REAAAALLLLY trying to tap a specific Target Group. Generation Y is one of the most difficult target groups to market to and the simple rule tends to be this: THEY HATE TO BE SOLD. I felt like throughout the entire show HBO tended to push something “pre-packaged” to the viewers. I will continue to watch to it to see where they go with it, but only time will tell if it actually picks up.
Thank you Hanni, KingMost, and the rest of the DIRTBAG crew for a dope event.

If you haven’t heard of DJ SPIDER before, I won’t give you shit. If you have heard of him, pat yourself on the back. If you have heard one of his sets and weren’t absolutely blown away, stop reading my blog. Oliver is truly an amazing DJ and I am blessed to present him to all of you tomorrow night at The Parlor. I met Oliver a while back and every time he is in SF, I make sure to make it out to hear him play. This Saturday will be going OFF at The Parlor. This event is FREE before 10pm, and $10 on this list after 10pm. Open Vodka Bar until 11pm. I know, I know, kinda confusing but trust me on this one…
We have The Parlor, myself, and SFstation in on promo. Photos by Hardy.
Let’s RAGE tomorrow to some incredible music at a dope venue. Here is to good music.
Cheers!

You eventually end up promoting a party that has a female “model type figure on it..” Wow.. Either way this is gonna crack.
